Status Badges

Each due vaccine has a colour-coded badge indicating urgency:

  • Overdue (red) — vaccine is past its due date, administer as soon as possible
  • Upcoming (yellow) — vaccine is due soon, schedule an appointment
  • Future (green) — vaccine is scheduled but not yet due

What Each Entry Shows

  • Vaccine name — human-readable name mapped from AIR code
  • Due date — when the vaccine should be administered
  • Dose number — position in the vaccination series

How Due Vaccines Are Calculated

AIR calculates due vaccines based on:

  • Patient's date of birth
  • Previous vaccinations recorded in AIR
  • NIP schedule (standard or enhanced for Indigenous patients / medical risk groups)
  • Minimum dosing intervals

Due vaccines only shows NIP schedule vaccines. Non-NIP vaccines (travel, occupational) are not included.

No Due Vaccines

If the card shows no due vaccines, the patient is up to date with their NIP schedule for their age.
