The medical exemptions card displays three categories of special immunisation information for a patient.
How to View

- Find the Medical Exemptions card in the sidebar

Medical Contraindications
Vaccines the patient cannot receive due to medical reasons.
Each record shows:
- Vaccine — which vaccine is contraindicated
- Type — permanent (no end date) or temporary (has end date)
- Reason — medical reason for the contraindication
- Start date and End date (temporary only)
- Anaphylaxis date (if applicable)
Always review contraindications before administering vaccines. Do not administer contraindicated vaccines without consulting a medical practitioner.
Natural Immunity

Each record shows:
- Disease/Antigen — the disease the patient is immune to
- Notification date — when immunity was notified to AIR
- Laboratory test date — when the lab test confirmed immunity
- Diagnosis date — when the disease was diagnosed (if applicable)
